The Anesthesia and Resuscitation Department at NDS is a multidisciplinary department composed of seven anesthetists, seven resident anesthetists, and eleven nurse anesthetists.
This team operates coherently under the supervision of Department Head Prof. Souheil Chamandi in the hospital’s six operating rooms, the post-interventional monitoring room, the Endoscopy Department, the Radiology Department and the delivery room.
The anesthetists are also in charge of the surgical Intensive Care Uniy and provide postoperative care for patients admitted to this department.
Two other anesthetists handle the open heart block and the cardiovascular surgery postoperative monitoring unit (CSU).
