Waiting areas and gardens
A large waiting area with glazed partitioning is on a level with the outpatient clinics and divided into several private zones for the comfort of patients and visitors. Several easy-to-access public toilets are provided nearby.
A well-equipped external waiting area with a toilet has been established to welcome those accompanying patients admitted to the ER and the representatives of security forces who intervene in the event of traffic accidents. Another external waiting area is also available on the parking lot for the comfort of families and visitors.
Pleasant gardens with greenery and benches are scattered around NDS to welcome the families accompanying their patients.
POST-HOP is a shop built near the NDS parking lot in order to provide patients with the medical and paramedical supplies they need at affordable prices following their hospitalization.
Cafeteria
Located on the ground floor, the cafeteria has two entrances that facilitate access through Block A and Block B.
The cafeteria is fitted with large glass panels opening onto a small external garden, which gives those inside the impression of being outside.
Its large, well-lit and well-ventilated area offers a warm and friendly atmosphere allowing visitors to rest, eat, and engage in conversations.
Visitors can choose from a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, hot and cold drinks and snacks, in addition to tasty and varied daily dishes.
The young personnel of the cafeteria are here in your service. You can also use the phone to order your requests from the patients’ rooms with no extra charge.

- every day from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
Non-Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly forbidden within all CHUNDS buildings. NDS is a non-smoking zone in accordance with the Lebanese law.
A smoking area is provided on the first parking level.
