The Pulmonology service operates in keeping with the General and Medical Statute of the hospital by:
- being on duty every day within the hospital, covering outpatient clinics and providing consultations on hospital floors and in the Intensive Care Unit.
- handling patients’ hospitalization and follow-up.
- being available 24/7 according to a monthly call list.
- monitoring patients’ records: observation, progress note, and discharge slip.
- undertaking the Professional Practice Studies on a yearly basis.
- taking part in teaching the students of the USEK School of Medicine and Medical Sciences.
- taking part in national and international conferences.
- acquiring new techniques and procedures.
- undertaking publication projects.
- cooperating with other services at NDS.
- cooperating with the Medical Affairs Division at NDS.
